Destinations Covered: Mumbai (Bombay) – Mysore – Chikmagalur – Hospet – Hampi – Badami – Goa-Mumbai (Bombay) Tour Package Duration: 13 Nights / 14 Days

Day 01 Mumbai (Bombay)

Catch the morning flight to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore drive to Mysore. On arrival check in at the hotel and spend the night there.

Day 02 & 03 Mysore

For the next two days explore the places in and around Mysore. In Mysore visit the Maharaja’s Palace, Chamundi Hills and Nandi Bull etc. Visit Tippu Sultan’s capital Srirangapatna that is just outside Mysore and the Kesava temple built by the Hoysalas at Somnathpur. Spend both the nights at Mysore.

Day 04 Mysore/Chikmagalur

Visit the Jain pilgrimage site at Sravanabelagola, well known for its monolith of Lord Gomateswara that is 17 meters tall. Then continue your drive to Chikmagalur and on arrival check into the hotel.

Day 05 Chikmagalur

Visit the temples at Belur and Halebid that are famous all over the world for their intricate carvings and sculptures.

Day 06 Chikmagalur/Hospet

Travel to Hospet and check in at the hotel on arrival. From Hospet you will visit the ancient city of Hampi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 & 08 Hospet/Hampi

In the morning drive from Hospet to Hampi and explore the ruins of the ancient capital of the Vijayanagar Empire. Visit the Virupaksha temple, Hazara Rama Temple and the huge rock cut images of Ganesha and Narasimha.

Day 09 Hospet/Badami

Drive from Hospet to Badami that is situate in a gorge between two sandstone hills. On arrival check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the South Fort well known for the cave temples carved on the sandstone cliffs in the 6th century. Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 10 Badami

From Badami visit the splendid temples at Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole was the first capital of the Chalukyas and is often regarded as the birthplace of Indian temple architecture.

Day 11 Badami/Goa

In the morning drive to Goa through the lush green Western Ghats. On arrival check in at the hotel and the rest of the day is free.

Day 12 & 13 Goa

Both the days are at your leisure.

Day 14 Goa/Mumbai (Bombay)

Catch the flight to Mumbai and on arrival transfer to board flight for onward journey.
