Day 01 Departure form home country

Leave your home country for India.

Day 02 Mumbai (Bombay)

Arrive in Mumbai. On arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 03 Mumbai (Bombay)

In the morning visit Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat and Gateway of India etc. At noon transfer to the airport of take the flight to Aurangabad. Arrive at Aurangabad and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.

Day 04 Aurangabad

Take the day tour of Ajanta Caves; these caves are about 106kms from Aurangabad. These caves have Buddhist sculpture and portray the religious and social life of the times. These caves were built in the 2nd century BC. Return to Aurangabad for the night.

Day 05 Aurangabad

In the morning visit Ellora Caves (29kms) has 34 rock cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art dating back to between 4th and 9th century AD. The most outstanding shrine of these is the Kailash Temple, which is supposed to represent Lord Shiva’s heavenly abode. This temple is the best example of rock cut architecture. In the evening transfer to the railway station to board the night train to Hyderabad. Spend the night on the train.

Day 06 Hyderabad

In the morning arrive at Hyderabad and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon take a tour of the city. Visit Charminar, the Mecca Mosque and the Salar Jung Museum and High Court Buildings. Spend the night at Hyderabad.

Day 07 Golconda

You can spend the day at your leisure or take the optional tour to Golconda. Golconda Fort is located on the Western outskirts of Hyderabad. Visit the market place, the extensive Roof Garden and the tombs of Qutab Shahi Kings. Return to Hyderabad for the night.

Day 08 Chennai (Madras)

Catch the morning flight to Chennai. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the afternoon take a city tour. Visit the Museum to visit the Art and Bronze Gallery. Drive through the Flower and Fruit market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral and Snake Park. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 Kanchipuram/Mahabalipuram

Take a day tour of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram was the ancient capital of the Pallava kings. During its zenith it was popular as the city of 1000 temples and many of them are in use to this day. The city is also famous for its silks. Mahabalipuram is famous for the five temples that are carved out of monoliths. Return to Chennai for the night.

Day 10 Chennai (Madras)/Mysore

In the morning transfer to the railway station to board the train to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Belur/Halebid

In the morning leave for a trip to the temples of Belur and Halebid. These temples are the best example of Hoysala architecture and are over 900 years old. On the way back to Mysore visit Sravanabelagola to see the statue of Lord Gomateshwara craved out of a single rock, and this monolith dominates the entire skyline of Sravanabelagola. Spend the night at Mysore.

Day 12 Mysore

In the morning go on a sightseeing tour of Mysore. Visit the Maharaja’s Palace, the Art Gallery, drive to the Chamundi hills and visit the Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back visit the Nandi Bull. Afternoon is at your leisure. Spend the night at Mysore.

Day 13 Mysore/Bangalore

Drive to Bangalore and the day is at your leisure to explore the “Garden City”. You can choose to visit Lal Bagh the botanical gardens, the Maharaja’s Palace, the Vidhan Soudha etc. Spend the night at Bangalore.

Day 14 Bangalore/ Mumbai

Catch the flight to Mumbai. The day is at your leisure. You could visit the Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Gateway of India, Crawford Market, and Flora Fountain etc. Spend the night at Mumbai.

Day 15 Departure

In the morning depart to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
