Transfer from Kochi International Airport/Railway Station to your hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing tour by boat includes visits to the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis’ Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning leave for Kumarakam (125kms-4hrs) and arrive at noon. Check in at your hotel. In the afternoon visit the neighbouring places. Overnight at the hotel. Kumarakam is on the backwaters of Kerala on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. It has a bird sanctuary that is a favourite with the migratory birds from world over. It is the heart of the houseboat cruise.
At Alleppey spend the night on the Houseboat. The houseboats are huge country boats that have become a major tourist attraction on the backwaters of Kerala. It normally has one or two bathrooms, an open lounge, deck, and kitchenette and has a crew comprising of oarsmen, a cook and guide. While on the houseboat traditional Malayali food will be cooked and served on board using local produce.
In the morning transfer to airport/railway station.
